  • How often?

Yearly Reflection – Review The Year To Start Stronger – Episode 34

In each Episode I like to EMPOWER you with a useful resource, that you can use to have more success, and essentially create more of what you love faster, and more effectively.

This week, since we’re talking about Success Mindset, I’ve put together a guide called Reflection For Success Guide.
This will support you in knowing/seeing how far you have come, and having better clarity on what needs to be done to get even closer to your goals.

You can have access to it by clicking the yellow button above, and it will come to your email inbox immediately!

Yearly Reflection – Why?

Simply put, you cannot fully move on to a fresh new year, with brand new ideas, if you haven’t even closed the previous one properly.

Plus, reviewing, and reflecting on what was achieved so far might come very handy in the case of having goals that are not totally completed yet, but need to be rolled onto the following year.

Otherwise, it is kind of like driving at night, in the fog, without your lights on.

Yearly Reflection – Areas to reflect on

Some people ask, “what would you suggest is the most important to reflect on?”.
I used to think that reflecting/reviewing was just for professional related type of topics, whether being business or career.

What I came to realise is all areas all life must be reflected on, as everything is linked, and will create an overall balance in your life.

The Way We Do Anything Is The Way We Do EVERYTHING

Here a way on how you can categorise the areas of life to reflect on:

  • Business/Career
  • Finance
  • Personal Growth
  • Health
  • Family
  • Relationships
  • Social Life
  • Attitude

Yearly Reflection – How to reflect

The most effective, if not the only, way to reflect is by asking questions. Questions will give you all the answers you need.

The real importance in this section, beyond the questions, is the sincerity, and transparency that is required of you. The more honest and genuine you are with yourself, the easier and faster you will move towards the lifestyle you are building.

Type of questions you may want to use are:

  • What did I learn this year?
  • What were my 5 biggest strengths and weaknesses this year
  • What Little things did U enjoy the most during my Day-To-Day life

Yearly Reflection – How often

This process should be done DEEPLY, at least, once a year. I like to do it twice a year, so every 6 months is a great habit to have.

However, all the very successful leaders, and business owners out there, do reflect Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly, and Yearly.

An awesome tool that I use to keep track, and remind myself on it all, is the Law Of Attraction Planner. Check the link I left below the yellow button.
