Running an online business can be easier than running a traditional business, yet there are some principle that always must be included in a business plan.

Let’s dive into what is non-negotiable to be part of your strategy, so you can put the best chances to succeed on your side.

Business Sales – Attention

Yes that’s right, ATTENTION, is what is needed from your audience. They must feel that you are consistent and present at all times (not saying YOU gotta be physically present though 😉 ).

However, you can’t be present for a week and gone for 5 weeks. Inconsistency will kill your business, or avoid it to take off the ground. I’m with you about the fact that it can be challenging to remain consistent at all times, but the power and fire has to be found from within you.

You can do it!

Business Sales – Awareness

Who are you?

Consistency will bring awareness about your brand in people’s mind, yet sharing who you are as a person and a brand will help your audience build better rapport with you.

Once an audience build closer rapport with a brand, then they are more compelled to trust the brand and buy from it.

Business Sales – Understanding of what you offer

Some people out there manage to get massive reach/views on their post and videos, however their audience isn’t growing. Why is that?

Most of the time it comes down to a couple things:

  • Unclear Bio description
  • Not clear on the audience they serve

People want to follow accounts, brands, and others, who are going to serve them in some way shape or form. Being clear on who you serve, what you offer them, and how you provide this solution of yours to them, will make all the difference.

Business Sales – Familiarity

Again, consistency is everything in everything we do in life.

Show up in all areas you possibly can, so you have more chances to be seen. Also, be aware of the features that are putting your content to the top. For example, IG is, right now, huge on Reels, and Facebook is still big on FB Lives.
Use them to your advantage.

Here are some example of places you can show up:

  • Stories
  • Reels
  • Posts
  • Lives
  • IGTV

Also, don’t feel that you have to create new content for each places you show up. Do one piece of content, if you are limited on time or don’t wan to do a lot, and repurpose it everywhere.

Business Sales – Likability

What happens when you show up on a regular basis is that people will start to like you. If they stick around with your content is definitely because they like something about it, otherwise they would not check your posts, your stories, your lives, etc.

At this stage you have build up to 2 phases with your audience, which are the “KNOW” “LIKE” and there is a third element which is the last point.

Business Sales – Trust

Once people get to KNOW you, LIKE you, they are more prone to TRUST you since you are building relationship with each other.

When your audience has come to trust you, then you have much better chances to sale to them.

Business Sales – Conclusion

Very simply put, it is just a matter of putting your focus on your audience, their need, and be of service regularly and consistently, so that your audience wants to stick around you and buy from you.
