Video Content Marketing – Why is it important

Videos are the hot tools to use for any type of marketing if you want to have better visibility. Algorithms work in a way that they push video content to the surface better than photos or just plain text.

Also, from a consumer point of view, it is easier digested and builds rapport between you and your audience much faster.

To give you an idea of video content marketing impact, 90% customers report that product videos help them make purchase decisions.
And mobile video consumption grows by 100% every year!

Wouldn’t you like a piece of the pie?

Video Content Marketing – #1 Introduce Yourself (And Your Website)

This might sound very strange to you since you might think that your audience already knows you. But let’s say that you are right and everybody you are sharing your video with knows you. What about the people that they are sharing your videos with and you don’t know from nowhere?

So, even for this simple reason it’s worth introducing yourself every time which shows that you are greeting old and new viewers.

Plus it makes you look professional and gives you the opportunity to, indirectly, place the name of your website or blog. Fantastic branding strategy.
Here’s how to create a blog if you haven’t yet done so!

A simple way to introduce yourself is as follow: “Hello, my name is [Your Name] from [Your Domain.com]!”

Video Content Marketing – #2 Ask a Question Hitting a Pain Point

The main important aspect of your video creation is to make sure that you are addressing your audience’s problem. In order to keep them, and yourself, focused it is better to cover one topic per video.

Obviously that topic is going to be about the difficulties your viewers are experiencing in their life or business which you are going to provide a solution for.

If you are connecting with entrepreneurs or network marketers, the chances are they are wanting to get more leads and sales inside their business.

So, after introducing yourself and your website, you ask a question that makes them feel and think you know them: “Are you struggling to find people to talk to?” or “Do you feel frustrated with home-parties but don’t know how to start online” or “Are you looking for a better solution to leverage your time and results?”

The concept is the same if you are selling a specific product, such as nutrition: “Are you wanting to loose this extra weight without restricting yourself?” or “Are you looking for a solution to fit in that piece of clothe without having to go to the gym”

This process definitely means that you have to know your audience and what they want and need. To figure out your ideal audience you can go HERE.

Video Content Marketing – #3 Juicy Content

What happens after you created some reminders about their pains, you deliver the “What” by sharing your knowledge which answers the question you ask them and can help them resolve their problem.

By providing valuable content and solutions to your audience you are position yourself as an authority and leader in their eyes.

Thanks to this step, they come back to you again and again, plus they start recommending you.

Video Content Marketing – #4 Call to Action

After doing so great you also want to make sure that there is a way for your audience to get more from you. Whether it is free or paid, you have to have a next step to take them on a journey with you.

This could come in the form of:
