It is very often seen that the blind is leading the blind, yet it does not have to be that way. In fact it can be simple and fun.
In this Episode 60, I am sharing with you my 6 tips on how to build Leaders in your business, while looking like you’ve been doing this all your life.

Team Building – Duplication is key
It certainly is a skill to be building leaders up, and make sure that they become independent as soon as possible.
However, no-one build themselves up on their own, so your role is extremely important at the start of their journey with you.
Team Building Tip #1 – Don’t try too hard
First and for most, you’ve got to remain your own self, rather that being someone you are not.
You probably saw these people who, when they are given some “responsibility”, are putting a whole new facade which is everything but them.
Always remember that people follow, and buy into people first.
Team Building Tip #2 – Walk The Talk
A great leader is someone who ALWAYS leads by example.
You cannot expect your teammates to do what you tell/recommend them to do, if you are not a product of your own words.
Team Building Tip #3 – Share What Works
Along the way, your people will surely need your help. The way you do so is by providing support and regular value.
This can come in the form of trainings, coaching sessions, tips and techniques of what works for you, and which can help them in their business.
Ask them what help they need for, and create some content of what you already know, and turn it into some mini trainings your team can tune in.
Team Building Tip #4 – Give Freedom Get Freedom
Very Very Very important is to make sure that your teammates are becoming independent with the basic within 30 days.
True leaders must be resourceful, and capable on empowering others for them to become true leaders too.
Once you have fully empowered one then you can move onto the next one, and start the process again.
Team Building Tip #5 – Leverage Your Leadership
Create a Facebook group, specifically for your team, so you can have a platform where they know they can find you.
Plus, the big PROs to have a team Facebook group is that you can leverage your time by talking to many, rather than always be on 1-1 which is very time consuming.
In Facebook groups, you can also create some units sharing mini trainings you’ve done. You can, for example, create a Unit on How To Get Started, another one on How To Enrol Your Customers etc.
Team Building Tip #6 – Be A Human First
Last but far from being the least… remembering to be friends and have fun.
Your team will love connecting and be around you if you know how to have fun too, and that you don’t always contact them just for business only.
I always go by the rule of being a Human first and a Marketer second.
Team Building – Conclusion
Really team building is actually very simple but we, humans, make it so much more complicated than it really is. Follow the above tips and you’ll be right on your way to have a massive rocking team.
