Social Media Steps – Avoid at all cost

Most Network Marketing companies out there suggest to share their name, and products all over your social media, to, supposedly, attract more people to you.

For a matter of fact, and personal experience, I can assure you that it tend to repel people more than attract them.

NO ONE LIKES TO BE SOLD, PERIOD!!!

Social Media Steps #1 – Introduce yourself

It sounds obvious but sometimes people jump too quickly into what they want to tell people, and sell them their stuff.

People buy into people not into products. For this, simple reason, it is very crucial to be a human first and marketer second!

To introduce yourself, you can simply tell your name, your website (if you have one) and what you do. I tend to introduce myself as follow:

“Hey Hey, I’m Thierry V Alexandre from ThierryValexandre.com, and I help Entrepreneurs & Network Marketers create faster results in their business, to enjoy more of what they love with the people they love.”

Social Media Steps #2 – Tell your story

Sharing your story will alway be powerful, because you will make yourself relatable to other people who have similar stories.

FACT TELL, STORY SELL

Share a little bit of your background, your current situations and what you are wanting to achieve.
Everyone has a story, and this will help you go anywhere, as well as connect with people much more easily.

Social Media Steps #3 – Why Network Marketing

My best recommendation is to not be shy about talking about what you do.

Share with your audience what Network Marketing is, and how it can benefit them through stories. Because, remember, Fact Tell Story Sell.

One of the way you can express this is by sharing 3-5 reasons why you decided to get involve in this industry. Your reasons might not be the same as everyone, but surely they are people who have similar situations as your’s, and will be more than happy to get to know how Network Marketing can help them as it helps you.

Social Media Steps #4 – Why your company

This is pretty much similar to the above.

One thing to remember though, is to not say the name of your company. This way, you generate some curiosity and make people want to reach out to you for more information.

Talk about the type of people you are surrounded of in this company, the trainings you receive, the traveling you do with it, the products type you are using and how they impact you.

But in no case, do you mention the name of your company. Of course it is only a recommendation from me to you, because I see the difference between having mentioned my previous companies names, and now using true marketing strategies. Believe me that the results are much better, easier, and funner!

Social Media Steps: Conclusion

Very simply put, you just need to be YOU, talk about your experience and share your story.
By doing just that, you will attract way more qualifying leads that will relate to you, and will be interested in buying from you, and/or joining your team.
