Retention Strategy – Advantages

Customer retention is of those aspects which is very much underestimated, which in turn creates a lot of frustration in businesses.

The first advantage to create a retention is that it is easier to sell again to an existing client rather than convince a brand new clients to buy your products and services.

Also, it allows you to create long lasting relationships with people who are happy to spend money with you since they know where their money goes.

Let’s now see some ways you can actually create retention in your business.

Retention Strategy – Challenges

Challenges are such a great strategy to have for your audience to engage or re-engage while having some fun at the same time.

This is a way of bringing value to help them with what they need in their business/life, in return to interact back with you, giving you even more info about their needs and wants.

Typically speaking challenges are great when short (about 5 days) and giving easy activities to do each day, so your audience feels like they are winning, thus putting you in the light for helping them do so.

You can run free or paid challenges, either way, I would highly recommend having an upsell that is congruent on the last day of your challenge, that people can pay to opt-in if they like.

Retention Strategy – Giveaways

Giveaways is a wonderful strategy to excite your audience and grow your business at the same time.

Usually speaking, I tend to use giveaways for referrals. For example, you can create a Prizedraw, and each person who wants to do a referral posts on their timeline for your business, product, service, then they enter into the drawing happening on the date you set.

What this does is putting you and your business in front of new eyeballs you didn’t have to prospect yourself. Your audience has published a post that recommends you, and now you have permission to connect with everyone asking for more info in the comment of that post.

Retention Strategy – Contest

Another brilliant way to engage or re-engage your audience, excite them while growing your business is by creating a contest.

For instance, you can give a $20 Amazon card to 1, or several, member(s) who invite the most people into your private Facebook group.

People love giveaways, even if they aren’t huge, and it truly position you as a leader who loves giving and paving the way for others.

Retention Strategy – Conclusion

There are so many way you can engage with your audience, and make them engage back, while growing your business, but find what works for you. And that you have fun doing too, because people feel when you have a great time doing what you do, and that makes them want to join you, or buy from you more.
