Isn’t it annoying when people are saying “NO” to you whereas you know your products, service, or opportunity is surely what they need?
What about the feeling you have when people Ghost you completely?

This is something I can relate because I spend my first 6.5 years in business worrying about what others had to say. Finally, I realised that there is no way to be able to cash in people’s opinion at the bank!!

But yes, I’m still a human and have feelings so it can happen that I catch myself in the pity party mindset because of a “NO” I just received.

This is why In this Episode 81, I am sharing with you 3 simple steps to reduce or stop (at will) the frustration creeping up when a potential client says “NO” or ignores you completely.

Mindset Business –

What seems to be common is that the frustration of receiving “NO” that we tend to call “Rejection” comes from 2 different aspects.

First one is the mindset. Yes we are creating stories in our head all the time, which most of the time are made up from past experiences, not relevant in the now, or completely not true at all. This is why Personal growth is such a crucial element in my daily routine.

The second reason we tend to build that sense of frustration is by the lack of a clear and specific process, that removes your emotions from the equation as much as possible.

Mindset Business – Let Go

Yes, yes and yes… I 100% agree with the fact that it is easier said than done HAHA

The best to go about it is to be in so much activity that you just go go go and see what sticks, the rest you let go of.
It really isn’t personal at all, at least most of the time. Let me give you this example below.

When I was an account manager for a printing company, I cared about the job I was doing, but I really didn’t care or get so emotional when the prospect or clients on the other side of the phone told me “NO” for one thing or another.
However, inside my business I was always getting more irritated and frustrated to “NOs” because it is “MY” business, it is personal.
This is why it is best to take a step back and almost build some boundaries in the relationship between you, your business.

Another aspect that helps going beyond the “rejection” you receive is to focus on activity goals rather than the goal itself.
ie: Focusing on how many people you want to contact each and every day rather than how many “YESs” you would like and which you have no control over since you cannot decide for others.

Mindset Business – Be in ACTION

Action/Activity is the cure to frustration, rejection, anger, no results, and everything else in between.

Being consistent at doing your daily Income Producing Activities will create momentum, which won’t give you any space (or very little) to dwell into pity party mode.

Be in your power by choosing when to let go of things, and by focusing on Activity goals rather than the end results in itself.
