Facebook For Business – which one to pick
So many people think that they have to choose between building a page and a group.
Whereas in fact, they both have different functionality and you might also want to have both.
Let’s now go over the differences for you to decide what’s best for you to do.
Facebook For Business – Page
It is very well known that the Facebook page is for those who have a business of any sort, and want to build it on Facebook.
However, Facebook pages became much “harder” to build ever since Facebook has evolved If you’ve noticed, barely of your fans/followers tend to see your content, unless you have 1000’s of them.
The reason being is that Facebook is a business like any other and needs to make money somewhere, which is primarily from us creating ads.
Therefore, your Facebook page is actively shown to your followers when you are active spending money into the machine too.
Facebook For Business – Groups
Groups on the other side are awesome because your members are receiving notification for everything that is happening inside it.
Also, one of the aspect I find super useful for business who provide value to their audience is that, you can create a sort of library inside your group for people to find certain information you might want them to get.
This is done through what’s called “Units”. For example, if you have a makeup business you could create a Unit for evening makeup, a Unit for day makeup, and another for wedding makeup…
The one thing to remember is that you cannot share you cannot share your publications from your group if it is a Private one, which I would recommend, so you can create an exclusivity community atmosphere.
Facebook For Business – Still unsure…
My take on it is to never limit yourself and live in abundance.
Even if you aren’t ready to do Facebook ads right now, I would still create and feed a page, so when you are ready to invest, and that you know what you are doing with ads, you page will already have plenty of content for people to watch.
There is nothing worse than throwing money into ads without any content on your page, since it will remove all credibility about your brand in your prospect’s mind.
Facebook For Business – Conclusion
As you now know, Facebook pages and groups have different features and ways of working. In my opinion, you are best having both because, if you are in business, surely you want to create a community which is done with a group, but you’ll also want to scale your business u.
