This is very common, and the problem isn’t you, but what is not generally taught out there.

In this Episode 62, I am sharing with you the type of posts, and how many of them to share each week, so you remain focused on the right aspects, and know what to do, when, and how.

Content Creation: 15/7 Weekly Formula

Essentially, you want to build your business, but must be strategic about it, and the way you put yourself out there. You certainly don’t want to be an informational type of profile.

If you only could do one post a day, what would be most effective? Use the 15/7 formula to bring value and mix things up. All you have to do is show up online and share:

  • 10 posts/week that are fun, personal, lifestyle or bring generic value
  • 4 posts/week that offer nonchalant promotion a.k.a. curiosity posts
  • 1 power post/week that’s a direct promotion

Let’s get in each of this section, for you to have further ideas.

Content Creation – Post #1 Business Lit

The basic principle behind this post is to create curiosity, meaning that you are not sharing the name of your company or products. If people want to know more about what you are sharing, then they’ve got to ask you in a pm.

Here are some examples of Business lit posts you can share, and that are effective:

  • Showing a photo with your teammates
  • Photo of your company event, but without the logo or name of the company inside it
  • You being recognised on stage
  • You speaking on stage
  • Photo of you with some of your leaders
  • Showcase some of your teammates’s success

Content Creation – Post #2 Gratitude

This is a great way to brag about your team, your customers, and your own successes.

You could right gratitude messages that indirectly promote you and your business.

Here are a few examples:

  1. “I am so grateful for my team to be so amazing, and achieving big goals. Never thought this would happen to me, but it did”
  2. “So grateful for my customers to be getting such amazing results. my client (name) has lost (amount of wait) in a very short time.”
  3. “WOW! I promoted with true loyal customs, which never happened to me before. So grateful”

Content Creation – Post #3 Recognition

A recognition sometimes go much farther than a pay check. People crave for recognition!
Here are some example of shoutout post you could create:

  • New team member who just started
  • Customer who is achieving some results with your products
  • Teammate who has their first customer
  • Congratulation to your teammates for ranking up
  • Acknowledge your team for being in action and momentum

Content Creation – Post #4 Non-Chalant

These are the type of posts where you are creating curiosity, and/or bringing value to your audience through trainings for example.

Let’s say you are talking about your makeup routine, then you could say something like:

“My best tips for a flawless makeup application are (name your tips), but my top tip is to make sure to have a very good skincare regime. If you want to know more about my skincare ritual, then drop me a pm”

Content Creation – Post #5 Direct Promotion

This is what I also called a POWER post, which you want to do only once a week, because you want people to feel comfortable coming onto your page, rather than feel like they are going to be sold on every single post of your’s.

Again, in everything you do, you want to start some interaction, and the best to do that is by creating curiosity. Here are some examples of what you can do:

  • Post a picture of your product (with the name hidden) and a catchy caption like “Bye-bye belly fat. One tablespoon a day and watch it all go away. If you’ve seen me lately, you know what I’m talking about!”
  • Share the benefits of your products
  • Show before and afters
  • Tell customer stories
  • Do a big giveaway
  • Make a big announcement: Post a selfie saying, “OMG, I’ve got something to share with you. Wednesday night I’m going live with a big announcement.”

Content Creation – Conclusion

Be active, consistent, and visible at all time, but with a variety of content which is not only about business.
