Communication – Clarity
In order to make sure you are on the right path and have fun along the way, you’ve got to be strategic and intentional.
If you have no clarity of where you are going, and don’t know your processes, nor follow them, then you are going to crash in a wall.
So let’s go through what will help you make it easier on you.
Communication step #1 – Know your audience
I used to think that everyone is my potential customer, or business partner. Which is true to a certain extend, yet, you cannot please everybody, nor everybody will relate to you.
When you start narrowing down the people you truly want to serve, it becomes much easier and funner.

Once you figured out who you want to serve, find out their pain, struggles, wants and desires, then provide the solution you have to help them.
Communication step #2 – Focus on the right people
When in business, it is usually because we have a desire to help others (and have the freedom we want let’s face it 🙂 , yet you’ve got to put your energy in the right places.
It is very easy to see what others are good at, how they would benefit from your program, product, opportunity, services… yet, you’ve got to hear this..
You Can NEVER Help Someone Who Does Not Want To Help Themselves First
Keep going, don’t judge a book by its cover, but detect as soon as possible, through questions, if you are both right for one another, to work together.
Communication step #3 – Ask for the sale
Big mistake I made many times, and for maaaaany years was this…
People to talk to were found (not always the right one), meeting was booked (not always had people turning up), presentation was done through powerpoint or on a napkin, but then I was not asking for the sale.
So the meeting would finish something like “Nice to see you, thanks for sharing with me, and see you later”.
If you don’t ask, you are wasting, both, your time and your prospect’s time.
Great closing questions are:
- What did you like best about what you heard?
- Do you see an opportunity for yourself?
- Do you have any more question before we get you started?
Communication – Conclusion
Most of the time we, humans, make it harder on ourselves than it really is.
It is going to help you getting to know your audience, and make sure to put your energy in the right people, yet it will take some effort to ask for the sale. But remember that magical things happen outside the comfort zone.
