Communication – 3 ways to invite for higher conversation
Do you ever find yourself in front of your ideal prospect and wonder how to invite them to check out your opportunity, or products?
The invitation is very important since it is what will make people decide whether they are interested, or not. Of course the only way for you to then know if they want what you have, is to also follow up and ask.
However, no follow up can exist if no invitation has been offered in the first place. So In this Episode 41 I am sharing with you 3 effective ways to invite, and which you can pick from, depending on the approach you feel most comfortable with.
Communication – 3 ways to invite for higher conversion – Episode 41
As you know, with every Episode I like to EMPOWER you with a useful resource, that you can use to have more success and essentially create more of what you love with less stress.
This week, since we’re talking about Why NOT To Share You Link On Your Social Media, I’ve put together a guide titled The 3 Steps To Business Launch.
This will help launch or relaunch, to attract people to you asking for more info.
You can have access to it by clicking the yellow button above, and it will come to your email inbox immediately!
Communication – Know how
Communication is everything in business, as well as in life!
The better you communicate, the more success you create. Through communication you can learn about human psychology, and know how to persuade people to see how your product or service can change their life for the better.
Communication – The indirect approach
You want to invite people to take a look into what you have to offer, but feel introvert, or uncomfortable to ask if they are interested for themselves.
This is where the indirect approach could be helping you massively.
You could ask:
“I have just started building a business in X industry, and I am looking for customers/teammates, and would love to expand in your city/country. Would you be open to get some info, and let me know if you know anyone who could potentially be interested? If not, no big deal!”
Using this strategy, allows you to not feel like you are pitching people but asking for support, and opinion. Also, saying “If not, no big deal!” tells your prospect that you are not counting on them only, and it also makes them feel at ease with an exit option.
Communication – “Based on what you told me” approach
If you build relationship with people, and take real interest in what they are looking for, you will extract important information that will help you serve better, as well as in complete alignment with what your prospect is looking for.
“You know, I was thinking of our conversation as well as what you shared with me regarding X (include what what their problem, or desire).
Based on what you told me, I would love to share some info about a project that could help you get/create X. Well, I have no idea if it’d be a fit for you or not, but I would love to share further details for you to consider. Would you be open to receive some information and see for yourself? If not, no big deal!”
Again, ask the question that will, most of the time, create some curiosity in people’s mind and want to know more, but still give the option to exit without feeling awkward with “If not, no big deal”.
Communication – Direct approach
As this way of communication is described, it is a Direct way of asking for what you want.
In this approach it is important to be personal and make the person, genuinely, at ease with how the communication is lead. To do this you want to find a true compliment you have about them, and tell them.
” Hey, I found something that I’m really excited about. I would love for you to take a look at it because (insert sincere compliment), and I thought you might really dig it.
It may or may not be a great fir for you, but I’d love for you to take a look.”
The compliment can be about the fact that, they are amazingly pro at what they are doing, they have proven to be able to create success already; They are very health conscious, they are respected by everybody…
The most important is to truly be genuine and be natural in the process.
Communication – Conclusion
No matter what approach you decide to utilise, you and your prospect must, both, feel comfortable at all time without any awkwardness.
These 3 types of approach, Indirect, compliment, and direct approach will become second nature when you have practice them a few times, in different context.
