Business Visibility – Play the game
Everyone wants visibility but very little people are ready to put the work in to be visible.
The algorithm can totally be your best friend if you are following its rules and playing its game.
Business Visibility – Clearance of your Facebook
One of the things that might block you from seeing more of the post you want is by doing a clearance.
You see, when you are keeping things and people that are irrelevant in your life then it will start cluttering your environment, online and offline.
So if you don’t clear what you don’t want anymore, the algorithm won’t know it, until you remove it.
Here are a few example of what you can go ahead and check what needs to be ditched from your Facebook world:
- Irrelevant people that you don’t want to be in contact with
- Page and groups that are not of your interest anymore
- Inactive people, pages, and groups
Once that’s done you will feel lighter and you will see clearer in you what is going on inside your account, for yo to have more control of it.
Also, Facebook will stop showing you stuff that you removed if you were seeing them but didn’t want any of it appearing in your newsfeed.
Business Visibility – Pick and choose
Now, you might be thinking that some people are your long time friends and you aren’t ready to remove them from your Facebook.
Let’s face it, these days people think we are divorcing them when unfriending them from Facebook. It is almost what makes a seperation (friendship or love relationship) officila.
To avoid any unnecessary conflict you may want to Snooze and/or unfollow those you wanna keep as a friend but do not want to see popping on your newsfeed daily.
This way, you are creating space for fresh new people that you want to follow a bit closer.
Business Visibility – Birthdays
Okay! Somethings I’ve got to say is that too many people are complaining in the lack of interaction they have on their posts, but when asking “how often they acknowledge others” often the answer is “not much”!
We cannot expect anything if we don’t know how to give in the first place…
So a great way to give others some attention is by celebrating them. Luckily Facebook is giving to a free strategy which is people’s birthday celebration.
It is a Great way to reconnect and boost the algorithm in your favour, as these people will then ,most likely, check your wall and interact on them as a thank you.
Business Visibility – Give love to receive love
As mentioned previously, we’ve got to give before expecting anything back. In fact there is that book by Gary Vaynerchuck tittled Jab Jab Jab Hook, which talks about this exact aspect of “Giving Giving Giving Take” rather than “Take Take Take Give”.
This is also called the Law Of Retroprecity, that when you do something (good or bad) to somebody then you are most likely going to receive something similar in return.
A couple of tips for you to give love first to then receive some in return are to:
- Interact on other’s posts to see them more often
- Change settings to “see first” on their profile
Business Visibility – Conclusion
Clear your Facebook contacts, groups and pages to unclutter what you want and don’t want anymore, give other’s what you would like to receive in terms of interaction, and engage wherever possible.
Pro Tip: Engage on others’ post and/or in your messenger inbox for about 20 minutes before posting so the algorithm knows that you are “Giving Giving Giving” before “Taking”
