Business Strategy – 3 Activities
Most people, when they start building a business (any type of business), the first thing that they care about is PROFIT. Yet, before selling and making profit there are two major component that cannot be left apart or disregarded at all.
These 3 Activities have to be included in any business strategy, and must be implemented in that order, so you can have the best results possible.
What are these 3 Activities? We are all looking for the magic potion to build our success, whereas it actually is very simple. Reason why you might think this is too simple to be true. However, you may be surprised at the results you will get if you do just that even for 1 week.
Here are the 3 Activities we are going to go through together:

Most people tend to start with wanting to sell. Of course it is the aim so you can create the life you want, and also be able to pay for your necessities every month. But before anything, it is better to build your audience and then later sell to them.
I agree that it might sound like a waste of time, that telling people what you sell is more efficient. This is most likely easier and beneficial in the short term. Yet, in the long run you’ll be exhausted if you only randomly market yourself. When I started following these business strategy I then started to have more fun very quickly. Plus, building your audience also means that you get to know them better which is going to be of great help for the next step of this strategy which is Engagement.
Building your audience is really about finding the right people to talk to and adding them to your list, such as emailing list.
Business Strategy – ENGAGEMENT
As I just mentioned, Building your audience gives you the advantage of getting to know them and, be able to engage with them with the language that relates to them best.
The reason for it is that, when figuring out who is the audience you want to target, you will research their pain/struggles, wants/desires and, tailor your messages to that. Let’s say your audience is brides, you figure out that their main pain/struggle/concern is to be wasting money on trial and their desire is to feel on top of the world and look as natural as possible then, you can sketch your message around these and make your audience relate to it.
Once you have decided who is it that you want to serve and work with, your daily engagement, whether being on FB, Instagram, Blog, Youtube or else, will be speaking to them directly.
The bottom line of your engagement with your audience is to provide them with value, making sure that they see themselves in your messages and that they want to learn more from you.
This is also the part where you maintain the relationship with your people. Even after the BIG day has gone, keep placing valuable content in front of them so they learn from you always and remain active potential buyers of further programs you may have in your sleeve.
Business Strategy – SELLING
Once the they Know, Like and Trust you then you can sell your services, products, workshops etc.
People buy into people. Even if you have a cheaper price range than your competitors, they might go elsewhere if you don’t provide them with value regularly.
Over are the days where it was enough to pop on Youtube, to demonstrate a makeover while mentioning all the products used for a commission. Don’t get me wrong, being affiliated to brands or have your own is great but there is a better way to market yourself. A way that attracts people to you rather than making them feel that you are one of those who just want to sell.
If you stand out of the crowd by giving value regularly you will increase your popularity and your business success will skyrocket in no-time.
Remember – NO-ONE Likes to be SOLD
Business Strategy – Conclusion
To make a best first impression to your potential clients, it is really important to not go hardcore on them right away EVER! In order to build a great relationships and increase the ‘Know, Trust, Like’ factor, the following points must be implemented in that order:
- BUILD: Make sure to build your audience by getting to know who they are exactly and hangout where they do. Build rapport and include them in your list of contact.
- ENGAGE: The rapport building continues even after the first exposure. Keep on pouring valuable content daily on them via your social media and make them engage. The content you share must speak to them, cover their pain/struggles and wants/desires so they feel like you are in their head
- SELL: Once you have built a safe environment for your tribe you can, 20% of the time, share an offer of your’s for them to opt-in or buy. This part is easy when the trust has been establish and that people feel like you are worthy to invest in.
