Business Management – How to make sure your business runs while you are away –
Want to make sure that you stay connected with your audience even when you have to be off the internet?
Are you wondering how it is possible for you to have your business going live without you doing anything?
As I’m writing this, I am about to go away from my laptop for 14 days to attend my yearly meditation retreat, where I will be holding on a noble silence with no electronic device or internet whatsoever.
It is however my duty to make sure you are getting value while I’m away, no matter what without feeling stressed about it.
In this Episode 18 of Thierry V Alexandre, I will share with you exactly how to do this so you can enjoy time off from the online world at anytime, without feeling concerned about your business going down.

As you know, with every Episode I like to EMPOWER you with a useful resource, that you can use to have more success and essentially create more of what you love with less stress.
This week, since we’re talking about Business Management, I’ve put together a guide called 15 Social Media Content Ideas.
This will help you be ready ahead of time and assure that you NEVER run out of content.
Business Management – Why Is It Important
If you are serious about providing value to your audience, then being consistent is part of bringing value and credibility about yourself on the table.
The more people will see that you are consistent the more they will be expecting your content and wanting to connect further, as they will see you as someone who knows, how to serve in any circumstances.
A plus for being consistent is, that you are going to make the social media algorithm extremely happy, which in turn they will show your content to more people than the average person who post for few days in a row and nothing for three weeks.
Business Management – Think Ahead
If we think about it for a second, all the successful brand have their campaigns ready way ahead of time and sometime even a year before.
The same applies for any entrepreneur who wants to build a successful business. If you know that some events are coming up and clashing with your diary then plan ahead so it is ready when the time comes.
For example, last year I was at the same meditation retreat I’m going to this year, and it is exactly when I realised that I needed to plan my Business Management for my audience to receive what they expect weekly.
Here are some example of what you can plan ahead:
- Topics you want to share
- Typing your content as soon as possible and in bulk
- Recording videos in bulk
- Preparing and Scheduling your social media posts in advance
Business Management – Schedule Publishing
My advice to you, and what I follow myself is to keep the same pattern of appearance even when not physically doing the job on the D-day. At the very least it is a great idea to keep a very similar scheduling so, again, your people and the social media algorithm will remain happy.
Business Management – Automation
This is one of my favourite words and strategy for staying connected as well as tuned in, even when on holidays, meditation retreat, or should I have an emergency that requires me to go away from my business.
Automation is one of the best system that you can use to gain some “Me-Time” back and more control in your life. You will do yourself a favour by using tools that allow you to share your social media posts, blog post, email broadcasts…
Here are some tools you can use:
- Hootsuite
- MeetEdgar
- Facebook auto schedule function
- Aweber
- Mailmunch
- Virtual assistant
Business Management – In Conclusion
We are lucky enough to live in an era that gives us tools to make possible even more possible. So You have all the possibilities to run a business successfully with the luxury to go away from it while it is working for you.
The key points to remember are:
1. THINK AHEAD of the topic of your content
2. SCHEDULE the time you want your content to go out (I recommend to keep the same sort of scheduling as when you are physically present)
3. AUTOMATION will save you a lot of time and energy while giving you a peace of mind.
