Best Way To Wake Up – Check Out These 4 Tips That Will Make You Start Your Day With Success –
In this Episode, I share with you 4 non negotiable elements that work for me in order to wake up positive, increase my energy, balance, focus and clarity while reducing stress which makes me deal with business and personal situations with more ease.

What if you could already achieve some of these and more by creating yourself a healthy morning routine that can, at the same time, help you start the day with a fresh mind and energised body?
The way you decide to start your day is what will shape the rest of all the events happening throughout your awaken hours until you rest your head on your pillow again.
How come two people in a traffic jam or a packed public transport may react totally differently, having one smiling and the second almost cursing at others who are actually in the same situation…?
Why do we hear sometimes “I woke up from the wrong side of the bed”?
For these reasons it is really important to take care of yourself first thing in the morning by having a healthy morning routine and which will have a ripple effect on you mind-body and the unfolding of your day.
This Episode will give you some tips on the best way to wake up to start your day that don’t require much time nor practice.

With every Episode I like to empower you with a useful resource that you can use to enhance your Mind and Body Nourishment Journey.
And today since we are talking about morning routine ideas and ways to enhance your mood and energy… I put together a healthy morning smoothies recipes booklet where I share with you 5 shake recipes so you can enjoy a positive morning with a tasty nutritious breakfast anywhere.
Ok so let’s now get into the morning routine tips ideas.
Best Way To Wake Up Tip #1 – Have a hot lemon
First thing I do when getting out of bed is going into the kitchen rinsing my mouth to hydrate it and put the kettle on to get my hot lemon ready.
Now, there are some benefits to lemon such as antioxidant but once the boiling water goes onto it the benefits of diminishes slightly. So the reason for putting lemon into the hot is to make it less boring.
Drinking hot water in the morning helps awaken the body and to me the lemon’s acidity helps staying awake better.
Best Way To Wake Up Tip #2 – Meditation
This is a must for me everyday otherwise I feel unbalanced and not in complete alignment with myself. So very rarely do I miss my meditation time. I now meditate 1 hour every morning.
In fact this is also a huge “Me Time” that is non- negotiable because we have so much little time to spend with our own self in this 21st century, which demands a lot of our attention. Therefore it is crucial to gather with self on a regular basis just to remind ourselves that we are as important as others.
Meditation is something that you can adapt to your needs and available time. When I started meditating years ago I could only remain a few minutes and it was enough. But this is the sort of thing that you build up and become more and more used to it and almost addicted to it. 🙂
So don’t pressure yourself with how long and the way it should be done. The basic key elements to remember are the following:
- Have a relaxing and tidy environment to meditate (You can have a dedicated space)
- Seat either in a lotus position (if you like it) or on a chair with your feet on the floor and your hands on your knees
- Close your eyes
- Breath in and out naturally unless you feel like you are falling asleep in which case breath a little harder for few minutes to wake your mind a bit more
Stay there for a few minutes up to however long your like and re-open your eyes to start moving again.
Best Way To Wake Up Tip #3 – Stretching/Gratitude/Affirmation
After finishing meditating I dive into some soft stretching for my back, arms, legs and neck so it revitalise my body and send a message to my mind that it is time to become a little more active.
As most of us all I have a lot to do everyday and so I decided to combine my gratitude and affirmation moment with my stretching for it to even more efficient and awakening.
Gratitude is really important for reminding ourselves that even though we, most of us, want to achieve more all the time that what we already have is wonderful already. Moreover, we can only attract more into our life by being grateful for what we already acquired and/or achieved.
Self daily affirmations is a real simple yet powerful and natural tool to use to create whatever you want to become true. The first time I used self affirmations it felt weird especially when doing it in front of the mirror 😀 but very quickly I noticed that when done daily and with focus, things were shaping very nicely into my life.
The example of Self affirmation can be:
“I am healthy and full of energy”
Do NOT use negative in your affirmation such as “I feel less stress…” because the focus will be on “Stress”.
Best Way To Wake Up #4 – Breakfast
NEVER EVER leave the house or start your day without having a nutritious breakfast. This is a must to provide your body the essentials that it needs in order to feel powerful and invincible.
You might say that you don’t have time to have breakfast in the morning and I hear that because just like you I have a very busy day and don’t want to spend hours sat having a breakfast.
This is why the best breakfast I can suggest you, especially if you are busy and really have no time to spare to cut fruits, warm the milk, make some oats etc then having a good protein breakfast shake might just be what could work for you.
For sure it works wonderfully for me for the unique and simple reason that I chuck everything into the blender (Frozen or fresh fruits, seeds, powders for diverse essentials, water or coconut milk…) mix everything and go. That means I can even have my healthy power breakfast while going to work, to a meeting or wherever.

However you can also adapt the principle of this book according to your own times. Successful people such as Robert Kiyosaki, the bestselling author of Rich Dad Poor Dad, apply what this book recommends to do. Hope you find it as good as I did!
Break The Habit Of Being Yourself (Book) – Dr Joe Dispenza – Learn More
This book is amazing for many reasons but two of them that you need to know are that all which is written inside is scientifically proven but explained in a way that everyone (even me!) can understand the meaning of it all and apply it easily. Whatever it is you want to change in your life starts within you. You have to raise the awareness of your mind for you to be able to take control back and make the desired change. Amazing book that will open the understanding of yourself. There is also a section on meditation which will be very beneficial to your morning routine.
