Automation Strategy – Why?
As mentioned before Automation is one of my favourite words. The reason being is that it allows to have so much more control of my life, all the while being everywhere I want to be online at all time.

Automation Strategy – Post Planner
This is the platform (app,postplanner.com) I use to pre-schedule most of my posts for my Facebook business page and Facebook group.
Pros:
- Schedule as many posts as you want
- Repeat the broadcast as often as you want
- Very affordable price
- Post in many Facebook page and groups
Cons:
- Paid platform
- Only works for Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter
- Is not mobile user friendly
- Cannot write a post with the backgrounds Facebook offer in the app directly
Automation Strategy – Trello
This is a brilliant platform because you can use is for whatever project you want. Essentially, you create a board and organise it the way you desire.
For example, I created a board with 7 columns from Monday to Sunday in which I pre-craft my posts for the entire week.
I specifically use Trello for my social media posts that are being meant to be published on my Personal Facebook Profile, since Facebook does not allow automation on profiles.
Pros:
- It’s free
- Easy and user friendly
- Can create unlimited content in it
- You can share your board(s) with whomever you decide
- Sends you email Alert reminders
Cons:
- Cannot publish posts automatically
Automation Strategy – Facebook Scheduler
Did you actually know that you can schedule your posts in advance from Facebook itself?
For any group that you are an admin for you can use the scheduler feature integrated. You just need to create a post as normal, and you will see a scroll down menu just at the top of where you are typing your post, click on it and select when you want it to be published.
For Business/Fan pages you can use the “Business Suite” app, which allows you to automate your posts for Facebook pages and your IG account too.
Pros:
- It’s free
- Can use it for Facebook and IG
- Can schedule as many posts to publish as you want between 20 minutes and 75 days from when they’re created
Cons:
- No repeat (recycle) option of the same posts for different dates
- Can only schedule your posts up to 75 days from when they are created
- Does not work for Facebook Personal Profile
Automation Strategy – Conclusion
I personally use a mixture of the three platforms as they have different features from one another. Whatever automation strategy you decide to use, make sure to have a system in place that creates more time in your life, as it is what will make you enjoy your business and life even more.
