If you are anything like me then you might have the conception that blogging is only about writing and it can be boring sitting there having to think “what is my next line going to be?”
I used to think the same but what I learnt in the process is that you have to be yourself, talk about a topic you like and use the format that suits you best so it is a fun process. For example I love using videos, even though I have to do zillion takes and edit slightly before getting it right, because videos are more engaging with the audience. In this instance YOU.
So in a nutshell, Blogging is an extension of your true self expression that you can share to the world without fear of rejection since you will only attract people who like your style.

As I just said, blogging is an extension of your true self that you can express to the world. but the question is, how can you do this on a virtual online world?

When I went through this process it was like I was discovering myself and having so much revelation. Since I did that work, my messages on social media and real life is much clearer and pleasant to express.
What used to be a chore and overwhelming, all of a sudden, becomes easy, pleasant and almost magical. You are now having people in front of you who are really wanting to hear about what you have to say and keen to build a relationship with you without you chasing anybody! Isn’t that GREAT?!

For example, I would have a meeting with someone who was, apparently, interested in what I had to offer and then just like Cinderella this person would vanish. In some case I didn’t even have a shoe to hold onto in order to find the person it fits.
Now with blogging I feel that my weeks are very productive because all the content that I create is on my website and will be there forever. Therefore when I meet someone there is not even the need for pitching them. I give them my website and if they like what they see then they opt-in for us to build a relationship for there without being salesy at all!

Essentially, What I learnt is that blogging is about building my own brand even though on the back end I have someone else’s products/services/opportunity that I use and recommend. The reason for this is that people buy into people and NEVER into things!
The beauty of having a personal blog is that you can create your own products and sell freely on your platform without it clashing with anything else that you are doing.
In fact, The amazing part of creating regular blog posts/video is that the content is starting to creates itself, the audience is starting to engage and ask for specific information and you can create courses and or products with what you already provided so far and what your audience needs and wants.
